Wilmington Industrial Golf League

I am happy to announce that the WIGL has come to an agreement with Delaware National Country Club, http://www.delawarenationalcountryclub.com/. Our league will play matches at Delaware National on Tuesday & Wednesday nights with a 5:00 PM shotgun start. The cost per player will be $30 with cart. Of course, the 19th hole will be available to all of our players.

 

Furthermore, all league members are now eligible to play Delaware National from Monday through Sunday anytime after 1:00 PM. The greens fee is $45 from Monday through Thursday, $55 from Friday through Sunday. If you prefer a cart, there is a $20 cart fee, per player.

 

For those of you looking to get your game into midseason form, lessons are also available to all of our players from Rob Mancill, PGA Head Professional. The rate is $60 per 45 minute lesson.

The WIGL Captains Meeting will be held next Thursday, 03/12/09 in the Veranda Room at Delaware Park. This is the same room as past seasons and is located one floor above the golf clubhouse. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM. For those of you that use Outlook, I will also send a calendar reminder.

Each team must have at least 1 representative present. If both the Captain and Alternate wish to attend, they are welcome to do so. The $120 entry fee, made payable to the Wilmington Industrial Golf League is due at this time. The fee for our new teams is $240 which will cover this season and next.
