WILMINGTON INDUSTRIAL GOLF LEAGUE HAS OPENINGS FOR NEW TEAMS!
The Wilmington Industrial Golf League has a few openings remaining for new teams. This is a 9 hole corporate league that plays several of the top courses in the area. Some of our league courses include Back Creek, Frog Hollow, Chesapeake Bay Rising Sun, Deerfield, Rock Manor and White Clay Creek. We are working on adding additional courses for the 2009 season.
- In order to participate, all team members must be affiliated to the team sponsor
- Entry fee is only $120 for the entire season. This entrance fee covers league handicapping, scheduling and prize money. Greens fees are $25 - $30 per player with cart included
- This is a co-ed handicapped league with all matches contested by 6 players from each team. New players establish a league handicap at the conclusion of their 1st match. You may have an unlimited number of players on your team roster. The league is open to players of all ability levels
- Each match is to begin with a 5:15 PM shotgun start. Scoring is both match play and stroke play.
- The season is scheduled to begin in May. Teams are scheduled for one match per week from Monday through Thursday. The regular season is comprised of 10 matches with the League Playoffs beginning in August.
- The league has a year end golf outing open to all participants.
